The WQGJ-300A Gray-King Low-Temperature Distillation Furnace is used in coal mine laboratories, the coal coking industry, and related teaching, research, and quality supervision units to detect and analyze physicochemical indicators such as tar yield, semi-coke yield, and distilled water yield of lignite and bituminous coal.
The Gray-King low-temperature distillation test is a comprehensive multi-indicator test, which includes both the determination of coking property indicators such as coke type and the measurement of distillation products including semi-coke yield, tar yield, and total water yield. According to GB/T 1341 "Test Method for Gray-King Low-Temperature Distillation of Coal," the basic principle of the Gray-King low-temperature distillation test is to place a certain amount of coal sample in a glass distillation tube, insert it into a furnace preheated to 300°C, and heat it at a rate of 5°C/min under anaerobic conditions. The distillation temperature ranges from 300°C to 600°C, with a holding time of 15 minutes. The semi-coke yield, tar yield, and total water yield are measured, and the semi-coke is compared with the standard coke type to determine its coke type.
Performance Features of the Gray-King Low-Temperature Distillation Apparatus:
The furnace body is cast from bronze alloy with a five-to-two copper-tin ratio, ensuring uniform heating effects.
German heating rods are arranged in series, ensuring a temperature difference of less than 1°C between furnace holes and a temperature control error of less than 3°C.
Temperature Controller: Intelligent LED display.
Eight heating rods generate heat in a cross pattern to maintain balanced temperature in the furnace body.
